Meilily Product Pick, Photos & Swatches: Priti NYC Nail Polish in Sweet Sultan!

Given how much I “heart” Priti Soy Nail Polish Remover, I’m rather surprised that is has taken me this long to try Priti Nail Polish, a non-toxic, 3 Free nail polish developed to be safe for children and expectant moms.

As part of my very first Priti Nail Polish haul, I picked up an intriguing neutral shade called Sweet Sultan, described as a “matted gray rose” on the Priti website. Sweet Sultan by Priti NYC has since become one of my favorite nail polish shades ever, a really great work-to-play neutral polish. It’s even up there with my favorite Paul & Joe Beaute Nail Enamel in 05 Teacup.

Tons More Photos & Swatches of Priti Nail Polish in Sweet Sultan…

The first photo above shows Sweet Sultan applied in 1-2 coats: You can see how the polish is glossier and more gray the more layers you apply. (Shown above: index and ring finger – 2 coats; thumb and middle fingers – 1 coat.)

Below you can see Priti Nail Polish in Sweet Sultan after just one light coat: soft and slightly smokey nude rose with more of a “matted” finish and just a hint of gray.

I have been wearing this Priti Nail Polish non-stop for about a month, typically re-applying entirely every 6-7 days or so. While it (and the shine) doesn’t last as long as those new salon gel nail polishes (love!), this Priti polish lasts surprisingly well for a non-toxic nail polish.

Below is another photo showing a single layer of Priti Sweet Sultan applied lightly to nails…

I love how versatile the Priti Sweet Sultan formula is. It is so easy to customize the color intensity by applying it lightly or heavily.

I apply one light coat of polish (below on pinkie) when I want a thin layer of rosy nude color, or two coats (below on three fingers from right) for a rosy darker gray look.

Depending on how you apply Sweet Sultan polish, you could make each nail look slightly different if you wanted to achieve a more bohemian look…

(Shown below clockwise: thumb – 1 coat, index – 2 thicker coats, middle finger – 1 slightly thicker coat, ring finger – 2 normal coats.)

Priti polishes are more pigmented than most nail polishes I’ve used, so you should probably expect many of the shades to look darker than expected after just two coats. This is a good thing!

Priti Nail Polish comes in an array of interesting yet wearable flower-inspired shades for adults and also in non-toxic Mini bottles for kids. Priti Nail Polish retails for US$12.50 (12.6 ml full size), or US$10 (9ml mini bottle).

It may be hard to pick just one Priti shade to try, but hopefully these photos and swatches will help!
