As one of their limited time offers, Sephora.com has been giving away gift with purchase bags with $25 orders, including a great little Hello Kitty Cosmetics Bag full of nice samples. From among three Sephora gift bag options, this clear Hello Kitty bag was my pick, because it’s Hello Kitty done right (and makes a great travel bag).

Unlike the traditional uber-pink Hello Kitty products that we girls used to adore as pre-adolescents, this Hello Kitty Sephora Originals bag seems designed for Hello Kitty girls who have grown up (and gotten jobs). Though this clear Hello Kitty cosmetics bag has a few touches of pale pink, it mostly features a subtle silver Hello Kitty print that will make you look twice.

Bite Beauty is a new Sephora-exclusive product line that immediately turned my head, in part because of the elegant simplicity of the textured grey packaging with glossy red lettering, but also because of the alluring range of shades and textures – all just for lips. Also, the fact that Bite Beauty lip products contain food-grade ingredients and the resveratrol equivalent of five glasses of red wine is kinda cool too.

To try out the Bite Beauty line, I picked up a Bite Beauty High Pigment Matte Pencil in Honey Berry, because it looked gorgeously mauve-nude swiped on my hand and because it reminded me of my beloved Nars Velvet Matte Pencil formula. How did it stack up?
