Meilily Product Pick, Photos & Swatches! Paul & Joe Nail Enamel!
Ever since Meilily was introduced to the wide world of Paul & Joe Beaute, a Parisian cosmetics and skincare line created by Sophie Albou that is much loved throughout the globe, an intense Paul & Joe beauty addiction began to smolder. After receiving a Paul & Joe Beaute product from one of the ladies at eMakeMeUp.com, this addiction was set ablaze, and… hauling commenced immediately.
Paul & Joe Nail Enamel: Scented & So Feminine!
One of the most interesting products from Paul & Joe Beaute, and one of the products I first hauled, is actually the Paul & Joe Nail Enamel, not just because of its unique floral glass bottle but also because it is a scented nail polish! It applies just like any good nail polish, but then it also smells quite nice when dry – like soft fruity flowers – with no yucky chemical smell! Amazing!

Meilily Product Pick & Photos! Bird Vine Jewelry Stand from Urban Outfitters!
I’ve been on the lookout for nature-inspired jewelry stands – you know, the ones shaped like twigs and branches – ever since I discovered the variety of jewelry stands available at UrbanOutfitters.com. I recently picked up this lovely Bird Vine Jewelry Stand from Urban Outfitters, and love it! It is made of sturdy metal with an antique gold finish, and has branches, leaves, and two cute birds – all to hold and neatly display all sorts of baubles.

Meilily Product Pick! Aveda Tea!
If it is anywhere as cold where you are as it is here, you may enjoy curling up and drinking lots of hot Aveda Tea. This is one of my favorite teas out there from one of my favorite beauty brands, Aveda. While I will admit it’s a little odd to be drinking tea from a company that is best known for its natural haircare and skincare products, I have gotten past the point of caring. Aveda Comforting Tea – and they only make one kind – is a unique tea that, I’ve heard, can get even coffee lovers hooked!
Aveda Tea has a warm and naturally sweet flavor that is not overly herbal or astringent, and it instead manages to taste nothing like the typically overdone flavors of mass-market caffeine-free tea. It tastes more like a unique beverage that fits somewhere between asian loose leaf tea, mellow kona coffee, and Guiness. Ok, perhaps it is far from tasting anything like Guiness or coffee, but I would say Aveda Tea is to tea as Guiness is to beer. It’s just —› › Continue reading
Previously featured as a Meilily Product Pick, the Intense Lipgloss from UK beauty brand Illamasqua definitely requires some good swatches. All the shades of Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss are pretty unique and unconventional, and often look quite different from their color in the tube when applied to the skin.
So, here are several swatches of Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Move, a dusty mauve shade with hints of violet, swatched in different lighting.

Sula Paint & Peel nail colors are fun and safe non-toxic nail polish alternatives that come in modern and fun shades. Now, Canadian company Sula has come out with fantastic new mini sets that allow you to try three different shades of peel-off Paint & Peel nail colors for little more than the price of one.
I highly recommend these cute new Sula Paint & Peel mini sets, especially if you are new to these non-toxic peel-off nail paints. You get to try three Sula minis for $12.50 (instead of $9 for one full size)! I’d also suggest getting one of the two available top coats ($9) to extend the wear longer than a few hours.

In this Work Product series, I try to find the best work shoe of all worlds: a stylish and flattering office-friendly shoe that is, very importantly, comfortable to walk in (and I do mean walk not hobble). Brownie points for head-turning or compliment-inducing capabilities!
Most working professional women out there have a dilemma: wear stylish leg-flattering (yet crippling) heels or wear comfortable leg-shortening flats, or gasp even consider wearing 80′s era mid-heel pumps? What is a gal to do?!
The first shoe worth selecting as a Meilily Work Product Pick is… the “Fold” Elastic Bootie by United Nude! This shoe is amazing!
Check out these product photos and thoughts on the Fold Elastic Bootie…
