I have never really been tempted by Estee Lauder skincare or cosmetics, but the current Nordstrom Estee Lauder gift with purchase offer really made me pay attention. Also, a study, recently mentioned in Allure magazine, wherein Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum Concentrate was shown to help prevent UV damage caught my attention too.
So, in the name of scientific investigation I went to Nordstrom and picked up the current Estee Lauder gift with purchase. Read on for shopping strategies and product photos. —› › Continue reading

Last Days! Nordstrom Estee Lauder Gift with Purchase
If you are considering purchasing or trying anything from Estee Lauder anytime in the near future, this looks like a great time to buy.
Between October 15, 2008 and November 2, 2008, Nordstrom is offering a really nice and customizable gift with purchase package that includes 7 skincare and beauty items along with a multicolor cosmetic bag. (I made the mistake once of passing over a cute coduroy A&F jacket while waiting for a sale, and ended up having to scour eBay for one in my size, only to discover the wide world of eBay Abercrombie knockoffs.)

As with first dates, first posts are somewhat awkward and nerve-wracking, yet extremely hopeful – filled with the hope that all of those grand schemes and quiet desires will come to fruition.
Do I have arugula in my teeth? How do I look? Uh oh, awkward lull in the conversation – help!
To break the ice, or at least chip away at it, let me tell you about one of my internet “first dates.”
My very first online purchase
Back in the day of shrieking modems and questionable dial-up connections, I got up the nerve to go online and purchase something from the vast unknown that was “the world wide web.” The first object of my online affections? —› › Continue reading
