Best Nail Polish Remover Ever? Priti Soy Polish Remover

Meilily: Priti Soy Polish Remover
Meilily Product Pick: Priti Soy Polish Remover!
Move over acetone! Hello, soy! Start out the new year with a resolution to avoid harsh chemicals in your beauty routine. One of the easiest ways to get a healthier beauty routine is to change your nail polish remover.
These days there are a growing number of plant-based better-for-you nail polish removers, and the hands down best polish remover I have tried so far is the Soy Polish Remover by Priti….
Not only does Priti’s Soy Polish Remover smell great (like sweet herb flowers), but it also contains biodegradable ingredients and essential oils, without yucky chemicals like acetone. This polish remover just melts away nail polish but doesn’t strip the nails of moisture! Instead, it feels slightly oily and seems to help prevent nails from looking dry and brittle after removing polish.
Personally, I think Priti Soy Polish Remover is the absolute best thing out there for removing nail polish in a not-so-toxic way! › Continue reading

Meilily: Paul & Joe Nail Enamel 05
Meilily Product Pick, Photos & Swatches! Paul & Joe Nail Enamel!
Ever since Meilily was introduced to the wide world of Paul & Joe Beaute, a Parisian cosmetics and skincare line created by Sophie Albou that is much loved throughout the globe, an intense Paul & Joe beauty addiction began to smolder. After receiving a Paul & Joe Beaute product from one of the ladies at eMakeMeUp.com, this addiction was set ablaze, and… hauling commenced immediately.
Paul & Joe Nail Enamel: Scented & So Feminine!
One of the most interesting products from Paul & Joe Beaute, and one of the products I first hauled, is actually the Paul & Joe Nail Enamel, not just because of its unique floral glass bottle but also because it is a scented nail polish! It applies just like any good nail polish, but then it also smells quite nice when dry – like soft fruity flowers – with no yucky chemical smell! Amazing!

Product Pick: Sula Paint & Peel Nail Color Mini Sets
Tuesday, November 17th, 2009 | Nail Polish, Photos, Product Launches, Product Picks | No Comments
Meilily Product Pick: Sula Paint & Peel Non-toxic Nail Colors!
Sula Paint & Peel nail colors are fun and safe non-toxic nail polish alternatives that come in modern and fun shades. Now, Canadian company Sula has come out with fantastic new mini sets that allow you to try three different shades of peel-off Paint & Peel nail colors for little more than the price of one.
I highly recommend these cute new Sula Paint & Peel mini sets, especially if you are new to these non-toxic peel-off nail paints. You get to try three Sula minis for $12.50 (instead of $9 for one full size)! I’d also suggest getting one of the two available top coats ($9) to extend the wear longer than a few hours.

Meilily Product Photos & Swatches – OPI Breathe Life Nail Polish!
As you might remember, Meilily announced the launch of OPI’s new Lung Cancer Foundation of America nail polish called Breathe Life about a month ago, with links to several great blog swatches.
OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish has since been generating some buzz online, so in order to help satisfy the demand for real-life swatches of OPI’s Breathe Life lung cancer awareness nail polish, Meilily now has new swatches and photos of OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish…
[You'll have to pardon the application! In contrast to the amazingly perfect swatches of those expert nail polish bloggers, Meilily's sophomore swatches show how nail polish will look when applied by, say, your seven year old niece. So, these could help some of you!]

From April 7 – 14, 2009, get 20% off Peacekeeper makeup from www.iamapeacekeeper.com, always with free shipping!
I’m a big fan of the Peacekeeper Cause-metics philosophy of producing safer cosmetics while promoting women’s rights. Did you know Peacekeeper donates all after-tax profits to women’s health and human rights concerns?
I discovered Peacekeeper a while back when looking for a nail polish with not-so-toxic ingredients and also vegan-friendly products. Now, one of my favorite Peacekeeper products is the Nail Paint, a nail polish (Big 3-Free) that wears like iron, yet removes easily.
Meilily Shopping Tip: Consider ordering a custom gift set (including nail polish, lip gloss, and lipstick) if you’re interested in trying several Peacekeeper products, since you can save a little money that way.
Do check back for Peacekeeper products photos and reviews! from Meilily
OPI Breathe Life Nail Lacquer Helps the Lung Cancer Foundation of America
Monday, March 23rd, 2009 | Beauty and Awareness, Hot Happenings, Nail Polish, Product Picks | 1 Comment
Meilily New Product Alert!
Nail polish maker, OPI, has announced their new nail polish called Breathe Life, developed specifically to help the Lung Cancer Foundation of America (LCFA). OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish was created for the Lung Cancer Foundation of America to increase awareness about lung cancer, with OPI making a donation to the Foundation to help find a cure and even sponsoring ads for the campaign.
Available starting April 1, 2009, the new OPI Breathe Life LCFA shade appears to be a soft cloudy sky blue color that looks intriguingly wearable for a blue nail polish. Given that practically any shade of blue nail polish is fashionable right now, OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish may be launching at just the perfect time.
To find out more about the Lung Cancer Foundation of America, see their website at LCFAmerica.org, the LCFA lung cancer facts page, and the LCFA Breathe Life campaign information page.
