Erica Weiner is still one of my favorite indie jewelry makers. From the ingenuity and whimsy of her best-selling handcuff lariat necklace, and now to the vintage sweetness of her letterpress lyrics heart necklaces, there’s something extra special about Erica Weiner’s pieces.
Earlier this year, during a sale, I picked up a couple Sweetheart Necklaces by Erica Weiner with custom stamped text on both sides. The one inch brass heart is like a larger and flatter sweetheart candy heart on a 16″ chain, and with custom, slightly imperfect, letterpress lettering it looks rather striking and feels one-of-a-kind.
I chose to customize the necklaces with lyrics from The Rolling Stones and Leonard Cohen… “Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you” or better yet, “You can’t always get what you want…”
Speaking of not always getting what you want… The custom Sweetheart Necklaces are no longer available at EricaWeiner.com, but Erica Weiner still has these similar sweetheart necklace options available:
The Heartbeats Necklace is the next best thing to the Sweetheart Necklace, and comes in gold ($60) or oxidized silver ($50), with select lyrics stamped on one one side from artists like Fleetwood Mac, Morrissey, and Snoop Dog.
There’s also the smaller Gambler Necklace in hand-cast aluminum ($35), which is double-sided with stamped text to tell you when to hold and when to fold.
What would you want your sweetheart necklace to say?
Meilily loves… Erica Weiner’s sweetheart necklaces!
