Meilily Product Swatches: Comparing Three Benefit Cosmetics Highlighters!

As requested, here are some swatches that will help you compare the three Benefit Cosmetics highlighters: Girl Meets Pearl, High Beam, and Moon Beam.

Benefit Cosmetics first pink liquid highlighter, High Beam, quickly became a popular beauty staple, and more recently Benefit created Moon Beam, the next addition to their liquid highlighter family. Now, with the launch of the new Girl Meets Pearl luminizer, it has gotten pretty hard to tell all these Benefit liquid highlighters apart.

Meilily to the rescue! Believe me, after you see these highlighters swatched side by side, you will see a difference… Check out Meilily’s Benefit highlighter comparison swatches:

As you can see from these swatches, High Beam (above, bottom left) is clearly a light pink liquid that dries and blends down to a primarily silver and pale-pink shimmer.

You can see also that Moon Beam (above, top; below, bottom left) is a peachy liquid that dries and blends down to a primarily dark pink opalescent shimmer. (Check out more Moon Beam swatches here.)

Finally, you can see that Benefit’s Girl Meets Pearl (above, top right) is a pearly pink liquid that dries and blends down to a primarily golden pink shimmer.

In natural light, all three Benefit Cosmetics liquid highlighters initially look somewhat similar when wet, with Moon Beam looking more peachy while High Beam and Girl Meets Pearl both look soft pink.

Again, the biggest difference between Benefit’s Girl Meets Pearl, High Beam, and Moon Beam liquid highlighters is most evident when you blend them out until they are mostly dry.

Highbeam looks gorgeous! I’m still not sure which one to get, but I am glad to Sephora makes mini sample sets for us to buy, haha.

Great idea! Those Benefit mini highlighter sets are a great way not to have to choose just one of these!
