Meilily Product Pick: Sula Paint & Peel Non-toxic Nail Colors!
Sula Paint & Peel nail colors are fun and safe non-toxic nail polish alternatives that come in modern and fun shades. Now, Canadian company Sula has come out with fantastic new mini sets that allow you to try three different shades of peel-off Paint & Peel nail colors for little more than the price of one.
I highly recommend these cute new Sula Paint & Peel mini sets, especially if you are new to these non-toxic peel-off nail paints. You get to try three Sula minis for $12.50 (instead of $9 for one full size)! I’d also suggest getting one of the two available top coats ($9) to extend the wear longer than a few hours.
More Details and Photos of Sula Paint & Peel sets…
I originally purchased full size Paint & Peel polishes in pink and royal blue from the Trend Collection, but wasn’t quite wow-ed until I saw these new mini sets at Ulta! The color selection and whimsical Anthropologie-style packaging really make these new Sula Paint & Peel sets stand out. A great gift for any age group!
Here is a set of darker shades: mushroom gray, plum burgundy, teal
Described as “make-up for nails,” water-based Paint & Peel polish comes in shades ranging from pale pink to royal blue to mushroom gray – there’s a shade for everyone! Though the darker shades seem to apply better (more pigmented), these Sula nail colors can be layered for more color payoff.
Here is a set of pale pastel shades: mint green, ballet pink, peachy nude…
To apply, paint 2-3 coats onto clean bare nails and dry for 10 minutes. These nail colors are indeed peel-able – a little like peeling glue. Btw – the non-toxic formula initially smells faintly of Elmer’s glue, though the smell wears off quickly.
Best of all, Paint & Peel polishes are free of DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde!
Wear Instructions: “Avoid contact with hot water for 4 hours following application. Extended contact with hot water (bath or shower) can temporarily weaken polish around the tip of the nail. Special care is required to protect nails until polish is completely dry. Aplly and remove polish at room temperature for best results.” (from Sula packaging)
Sula Paint & Peel mini sets come in about four or five different color combos, and are currently available at Ulta stores (note: Ulta coupons may work on Sula products).
