Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss Details

After Google-ing for Illamasqua swatches like these fom Krasey Beautiful, I knew I had to try Illamasqua’s Intense Lipgloss, specifically in a shade called “Move.” Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Move is described on the Sephora website as a “muted thistle heather.” I would describe it as a mauve with hints of dusty fuchsia and lavender, and it is probably one of the tamer Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss shades out there.

Move may still be a bit of a daring a shade for some, since it can look highly-pigmented when applied in a thick layer, which is easy to do given the slant applicator (see photo below). Fortunately, Intense Lipgloss can also be applied in a relatively sheer thin layer for a more subtle look. (See Meilily’s swatches here.)

Intense Long-Lasting Lipgloss!

One of my favorite things about Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss has to be its extreme staying power. After swatching this lipgloss on my arm, it honestly stayed put through two washes with soap and water as well as an alcohol spritz! With such intense staying power I am actually surprised that this lipgloss is not more sticky.

Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss retails for US$19 for a 0.2 fl. oz. tube of long-lasting intense glossiness.

Btw- For those who are concerned about product fragrance, the Intense Lipgloss has a fruity scent to it, which is slightly different from (but more pleasant than) the more powdery scent found in other Illamasqua products.
