Meilily Product Swatches! Christian Siriano’s Debut Makeup Collection

I’ve seen a lot of interest in the new makeup line from Project Runway winner Christian Siriano for Victoria’s Secret Makeup after I posted some details and product images. So, I got these swatches of all the new products from Christian Siriano’s debut makeup line and some top picks from the line!

Meilily’s thoughts on the new Christian Siriano products and shades:

The eye shadows are the clear winners in this collection, but take note – Royalty is definitely more matte than it looks online at VictoriasSecret.com, and Gilded Fierce is more of a matte burnt olive with burnished gold shimmer. My favorite eye shadow shades so far are actually the frosts: Oasis, a light aqua, and Sahara, a great neutral beige highlighter.

I think the bronzer-highlighter trio may work best on light to light-medium skintones, as I found it difficult to pick up enough color to show up on my (medium-tan) skin. (Unfortunately, the brush tester was also very worn – splayed out like a trimmed horse tail – and had all the lettering rubbed off of it, so I didn’t get to try it with the bronzer.)

Finally, I still haven’t seen the ruffled makeup bag in person, but it looks beautiful online. If you’ve seen it, let me know what you think!
