IMATS Highlights & Photos: At the Makeup Show LA

Meilily traveled to Los Angeles for IMATS, the International Makeup Artists Trade Show, and was there for Day 2 of the makeup trade show. There were tons of great brands and supply stores touting their wares, including MAC Pro, Make Up For Ever, Bobbi Brown, Obsessive Compulsive Makeup, and Mehron, as well as Royal Langnickel Brushes, Namies, Nigel Beauty Emporium, and tons of others.

Meilily at IMATS: Make Up For Ever Collage

Make Up For Ever was offering a whopping 40% off products at IMATS, so their exhibit was crowded and busy, and the line to purchase took practically an hour to get through.

The highlight of the show was probably seeing Maxi from the TV show, “Blush,” in person and promoting Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics! He was giving makeup advice and applying makeup- Wish I got a makeover from Maxi!

The MAC Pro body paint artists were amazingly good – This poor model had to use the restroom partway through and still keep the cubes lined up!
