As you might remember, Meilily announced the launch of OPI’s new Lung Cancer Foundation of America nail polish called Breathe Life about a month ago, with links to several great blog swatches.

OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish has since been generating some buzz online, so in order to help satisfy the demand for real-life swatches of OPI’s Breathe Life lung cancer awareness nail polish, Meilily now has new swatches and photos of OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish…

The above photo is Meilily’s swatch of OPI’s Breathe Life nail polish with two coats (left) and three coats (right). In real life, the Breathe Life shade is a sheer opalescent pale-blue with some silvery hints. The more layers you use, the more opalescent blues you will see.

The photo above is another swatch of OPI’s lung cancer nail polish shade by Meilily, in which you can see more of the sheer silver side of this shade. In person you can see more opalescent blue when you use at least two coats.

While Meilily previously mentioned that the base shade of OPI’s Breathe Life looks similar to the base shade of Essie’s Sag Harbor nail polish (another newly launched pale blue polish), OPI Breathe Life seems to have more opalescence than Essie Sag Harbor.

OPI Breathe Life is a really nice layering nail polish, especially when used over a darker shade. You can find it at Peninsula Beauty Supply and other beauty salon shops.
